Monster Rising by ScienceMonster Monster Rising by ScienceMonster
That's right, still life. Still life Portrait? I did tell him what an interesting monster he was while drawing him to which his responses varied in cohesiveness. He talks, I swear. :fuzzydemon: Executed in colored pencil this time.

:fuzzydemon: I adore Labyrinth! I have a soft spot for muppets. :fuzzydemon:

:halfliquid: It's a ';portrait' of a stuffed animal I always wanted when I was a kid and finally got when I was in college. I like to do still lifes of my toys. :halfliquid:

:fuzzydemon: It was the cool version of My Buddy and Kid Sister. Instead of a big human doll you got a talking blue monster with break apart handcuffs. I think they made a cartoon about him at one point? :fuzzydemon:

It still looks like a demented furby to me!!! Nice coloring, the fur looks real neat, and that blank stare in its' yellow eyes is pretty funny! The horns look flat though.

:giggle: You're totally right. I had a very limited pallet available to me as far as his horns are concerned. I plan to go back into it when I get more prismacolors. :halfliquid:

You use prismacolor pencils? I actually have some myself. Not too many though, and I don't really use them! :D My brother does though. He enjoys using them much more than I ever would. I prefer using markers and watercolor paints. Prismacolor markers, in case you're wondering... as for the paints... I honestly don't know what brand they are. They came with an art case. Its a very nice case!
